Welcome to the VK stolen equipment database.
I have written this experimental web application as a free service to amateurs to be used as a guide only. It is a quick check for possible stolen radio gear. Users directly add, update and delete the data, the accuracy of the information is dependant on the users: therefore exercise discretion! People still mislay gear, report it and then find it again. The information on this web application is by no means definitive and it is not meant as a replacement for official police records. Currently, the server is at the end of an ADSL line so it may be a bit slow and the occasional outage may occur due to the vagaries of the router. I haven't found a host that will give me a developmental server with sql, apache and tomcat in the same place and with the same degree of control that I have here.
By using it, the implication is that you understand all of the above. I am not libel for any loss of data, disruption to service, disruption to your business etc etc. If you are interested, the web app kinda works like this.
